The Mossman Gorge Centre, a new $20 million eco tourism development at the Mossman Gorge World Heritage Site, has been created by the Indigenous Land Corporation and will be managed by Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia.

The success of the National Indigenous Training Academy and free Indigenous guest activities attracting Indigenous entertainers from across Australia has led to the increase demand in staff housing.
